How To Archive And Unarchive Content

Archiving/Unarchiving Multiple Categories or Articles Archiving/Unarchiving Articles In The Article Editor New Editor Legacy EditorThe Archive feature allows you to remove individual or multiple articles and categories from your knowledge base without permanently deleting them. Once archived, the content is no longer visible to users or accessible via search, but it can still be reached through a direct link.
Archiving/Unarchiving Multiple Categories or Articles
To archive multiple categories or articles at once, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your Dashboard.
- Select the articles or categories you want to archive.
- Click Actions > Archive.
Your archived content will now be located in the Archived section on your Dashboard.
To unarchive, repeat the steps above and select Unarchive.
Archiving/Unarchiving Articles In The Article Editor
Articles can also be archived and unarchived from the article editor. To do so, follow the steps below:
New Editor
- Open the article in the New Editor.
- Click the More Actions […] button in the top right corner.
- Select Archive Article or Unarchive Article to change its status.
Legacy Editor
- Open the article in the Legacy Editor.
- Click More > Add to Archive or Unarchive to update the article’s status.
