How to Embed Files into Articles
Table of Contents
Embedding Files from Your Computer Embedding Files from Google Drive Embedding Files from SharePoint Embedding Files from Other Platforms Common IssuesBy default, only PDF files are displayed within an iframe when uploaded or dragged and dropped using the Files Manager. All other file types will appear as downloadable attachments (links).
However, if you’d like to embed other file types, you can do so using specific embed codes that depend on the platform you are using.
In the editor, click Insert HTML, paste the embed code, and save your changes.

You can easily paste links from Youtube, Loom, and Vimeo in the New Editor, and our editor will automatically embed the video into your article!
Embedding Files from Your Computer
If you have the file saved locally, it is not possible to embed it into your articles (except for PDFs). In this case, what you need to do is upload the file to an online platform such as Google Drive or SharePoint and get the embed code provided by the platform you are using.
This process is not managed on the Helpjuice side, and instructions may vary depending on the service you are using, so please refer to the provider's documentation on how to obtain embed codes.

Common Issues
Helpjuice does not manage the content displayed in the iframe, so if you encounter permission errors or any other error messages within the iframe, please refer to the documentation of the platform you are using and adjust the settings accordingly directly on the platform that hosts the content.
