Helpjuice Article Translation Fees
Gain insight into how auto-translation pricing works at Helpjuice, and how to optimize it for your business.
At Helpjuice, we provide a seamless auto-translation service to cater to your language requirements. Our pricing structure is designed to be transparent, fair, and flexible to accommodate diverse user needs. This knowledge base article will guide you through the pricing details for our auto-translation service, with a specific emphasis on text-only charges.
Translation Limit:
Each Knowledge Base on our platform is initially granted 30 free translations. Once this limit is reached, users will be subject to our character-based pricing model.
Character-Based Fees:
Beyond the initial 30 translations, users will be charged $0.00015 USD for each character processed during translation. However, it's important to note that this charge only applies to the actual text content and not to HTML markup.
If the total character count for text-only content (excluding HTML markup) is below 3,000 characters, users will not incur additional charges, even after surpassing the initial 30 free article translations.
Text-Only Pricing:
We understand that translations often involve HTML markup for formatting and styling. To provide a cost-effective solution, we only charge for the text content itself and exclude any HTML markup. This ensures that users are billed based on the linguistic content they wish to translate, making our service both transparent and economical.
Example Calculation:
Consider an example where a user translates 60,000 characters, including HTML markup, after exceeding the initial 30 translations:
- Total characters subject to fees (text-only) = 40,000 characters.
- Additional charges = 40,000 characters * $0.00015 USD/character = $6.00 USD.
Charges will be applied to the HTML markup in this example.
