Our team is continuously working to improve the overall functionality, performance, and user experience of our app. Here’s a detailed summary of the recent changes:
Editor Redesign Enhancements
Big changes were made to the editor design, including:
- Breadcrumbs moved to the header.
- The follow button is repositioned next to the Activities and Author icons.
- New icon placements and improved positioning of titles and subtitles.
- Instant category updates upon changes.
- A video demonstrating these changes has been provided for more clarity.
Custom Search Fix for Accordions and Tabs
A bug affecting the custom search (CTRL+F) feature in the new editor, specifically when using accordions and tabs, has been fixed. Users should now experience smoother and more reliable search functionality across these components.
Copy the Link to Highlight the Fix for Accordions/Tabs
A fix was implemented to resolve the "Copy link to highlight" feature not working with accordions and tabs.
Article Duplication Feature
A new feature allowing users to duplicate articles directly from the dashboard has been launched. Users can access this option by hovering over an article or via the actions menu on the editor page. All duplicated articles will now be tracked in the activity log.
Resolved Issues
Mailers Update – Article Revision Name Fix
An update has been made to ensure that our email notifications now include the latest revision name of an article, rather than the published version. This resolves issues where emails displayed outdated article names, especially for articles created from templates.
DOCX/PDF Import Edge Case Fix
A fix was implemented to resolve an issue where importing DOCX/PDF files would cause the import process to hang indefinitely, especially when selecting a heading level for article splitting.
UI Fix for Scrolling Issue in Editors
A UI bug that caused a gap to appear between the toolbar and the header in both old and new editor designs during scrolling has been resolved.
We encourage you to explore these updates and let us know if you encounter any issues or have further feedback. Your input is vital in helping us improve the platform.
