Troubleshooting: Category Icons

Editing a category in your Knowledge Base is quick and simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. Click the Edit Icon next to the category you want to modify.
  2. The Edit Menu will appear, allowing you to make various changes, including
    • Choose or Upload an Icon: Select an icon from the library or upload a custom one to represent your category.
    • Update the Category Name: Modify the name as needed.
    • Add or Update the Category Description: Provide a clear and concise description of what the category covers.
    • Change the Category Slug: Update the category URL.
    • Change the Category Location: Move the category to a new section if necessary.
    • Set Access Levels: Choose between Public, Internal, Private, or URL-Only access levels for your category.
  1. Once you’ve made your changes, click Update Category/Subcategory to save them!
     

Troubleshooting: Category Icons

If you’ve uploaded a custom icon and it’s not showing on the frontend, this could be due to the default styles of the theme you’ve selected for your Knowledge Base. Fortunately, this can be fully customized!
