How To Insert Images And Videos
With Helpjuice you can easily insert Images and Videos in the body of your articles.
Inserting Images In Articles
Helpjuice supports any image format and the size limit is 100MB.
Legacy Editor (WSYIWYG)
- Click New Article or edit an existing article
- Place the cursor where you want the image to be displayed
- Click Insert Image (Ctrl+P)
- Choose one of the options: Upload Image, By URL, or Browse the Uploads section
When you click on the image, the menu below will appear and you can adjust the image size, alignment, style, make advanced edits, and much more!
New Editor (WSYIWYG)
There are two options to insert an image in the New Editor:
Files Manager
- Click New Article or edit an existing article
- Place the cursor where you want the image to be displayed
- Click Files Manager > Upload a New File
- Choose the image you want to upload, drag & drop it or add the file URL > click Attach Files.
Copy & Paste
- Click New Article or edit an existing article
- Copy the image from your source
- Place the cursor where you want the image to be displayed
- Paste the image
When you click on the image, a menu will pop up where you will be able to change the alignment, size, styles, and more!
Markdown Editor
To insert images in articles (Markdown):

Upload the image in the Files Manager section
- Once uploaded, copy the image link by clicking the file icon in the image

Go to article editor, and click the image button

An empty image code block will appear. Paste the URL you've copied inside the parentheses. Example below:

Inserting Videos In Articles
Legacy Editor (WSYIWYG)
To insert videos in articles in the Old Editor:
- Click New Article or edit an existing article
- Place the cursor where you want the video to be displayed
- Click Insert Video
- Choose one of the options: By URL, Embedded Code, or Upload Video
New Editor (WSYIWYG)
Files Manager
- Click New Article or edit an existing article
- Place the cursor where you want the image to be displayed
- Click Files Manager > Upload a New File
- Choose the video you want to upload, drag & drop it, or add the file URL > click Attach Files.
Video URL
Simply paste the video's URL directly into the article's body and the video will be embedded!
Embed Code
- Copy the video's embed code from the external source
- Click Insert HTML
- Paste the embed code and click the green check.
Supported Video Formats
- Files Manager: webm, ogg and mp4 - The size limit is 5GB.
- Upload from computer: webm, ogg and mp4 - The size limit is 100MB.
- By URL: Youtube, DailyMotion, Yahoo, and Vidyard - The size limit is 100MB.
- Embedded Code: For every other service, you can copy the Embed Code - There is no size limit.
