What Is A User? Do Customers Count as Users? Is There a Way to Make Only Editors Impact Pricing? FAQs If we connect our customer SSO, will that influence the pricing?

What Is A User?

A user is a key factor that differentiates Helpjuice's pricing plans. A user is anyone added in the Helpjuice backend through the Users section. Whether a user is a Super Administrator, Administrator, Collaborator, Draft Writer, or Internal Viewer, they will influence the pricing of your account.

Do Customers Count as Users?

No, customers do not count as users unless they are physically added to the user list in the Helpjuice backend.

Is There a Way to Make Only Editors Impact Pricing?

Yes! Instead of adding Internal Viewers to the Helpjuice backend, you can keep your Knowledge Base accessible to them without affecting pricing. Simply:

  • Use encrypted URLs to make your Knowledge Base accessible to internal viewers, or
  • Create encrypted categories and share the encrypted URL with the users who need access.

This way, only editors and higher-level users count toward your pricing.

FAQs

If we connect our customer SSO, will that influence the pricing?

Yes. If you integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) and your customers are added to the Helpjuice Users panel, they will be counted as users, which would influence your pricing.

Why is the knowledge base important?

With a knowledge base, you can allow your customers to self-help themselves, thus reducing your customer support by up to 60%. Furthermore, you can also have your team get instant answers to the questions they need without having to email themselves all using knowledge base software.

What is the purpose of a knowledge base?

The purpose of knowledge base software is to allow you to host your knowledge base/corporate wiki in one centralized 'hub'. Both your customers, and employees can now access information within seconds!
