It helps you monitor the performance of your content and track user engagement for individual articles.
Why are the Articles Analytics Important?
This section is crucial for understanding how users interact with your content. It provides insights into which articles are performing well and where improvements may be needed. To view the Articles Tab and its data:
- Log into your Helpjuice account.
- Click Analytics in the sidebar.
- Select the Articles tab within Analytics.

How Do I Export the Data?
You can export the analytics data for articles in .XLS or .CSV format for further analysis. This export includes key metrics, allowing you to review article performance outside of Helpjuice, using tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
To do so, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Export XLS or Export CSV, and the file will be automatically downloaded to your computer.

Best Practices
- Review articles with many views but low engagement (low “reads” or lots of dislikes) to see what content could be improved.
- Compare time periods (e.g., month vs. last month) to see content trends over time.
- Use likes/dislikes and feedback in combination with view metrics to understand user sentiment.
- Prioritize updating content that’s outdated or underperforming rather than creating new content, when appropriate.
- Look for “Articles Needing Improvement” as signals of knowledge gaps or unclear content.
