Swifty is an in-app support widget provided by Helpjuice. With Swifty, your users can instantly access your knowledge base articles, by simply opening the Swifty Widget in the corner of their screen, and search/browse articles. Swifty is very easy to set-up and install, and takes less than 2 minutes to implement.
How to Set-Up Swifty?
To set-up Swifty simply go to /admin/swifty_appearances or click on swifty set-up icon in your Helpjuice navbar:
Swifty settings page will open where you can customize your Swifty Widget. On the left side you'll see all settings for Swifty and on the right side is Live Swifty Preview so you can see how your Swifty Widget will look based on settings you select.
Available Settings
Theme Color and Links Color
Add theme and links color so your Swifty Widget will match your brand colors.
Widget Position
Define where you want your Swifty Widget to appear on your page. Available options are Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left and Bottom Right.
Swifty Rules
With Swifty Rules you can decide which articles you want to display on certain pages. This will help you to show your users relevant articles based on the page they are on. To add new rule simply click on Add New Rule button inside Swifty rules section and you'll see two fields:
In the first field simply add your page or path, for example https://yourwebsite.com/path-to-your-page and in the second field search for article you want to add and click on the article to add it. You can add as many as you want articles for your page and also You can add as many Rules as you need.
Install Swifty?
Installing Swifty Widget is very easy and straight forward. Below the Swifty settings there is a section called Generate Code.
Code is generated automatically based on settings you choose. Simply click on Copy icon in the upper right corner and paste it somewhere in your <head> tag and that's pretty much it. Now You should see Swifty on your website.
