Whether you’re using platforms like Zendesk, Confluence, Help Scout, or even more uncommon sources like Google Sites and Notion, we handle the entire process for you. Our team takes care of importing your content, re-uploading images and files, updating links, and ensuring that your knowledge base is ready to go as soon as possible. Additionally, we provide personalized support to create template articles, set up categories, and even add users, so you can focus on running your business.

What Does Our Migration Service Include?
Our Custom Import Service includes a full range of tasks to ensure a smooth migration:
- Content migration: We move your articles, categories, and structure to Helpjuice.
- Link updates: All links will be updated to ensure they function properly.
- Image and file re-uploading: Any media files will be uploaded to Helpjuice’s server.
- Redirects: If necessary, we will create redirects to preserve your content’s accessibility.
- Extra services: We can also help create template articles, add users, and make any additional adjustments to your articles and categories.
We offer a comprehensive migration process, ensuring that your knowledge base is fully functional and optimized post-import.
How Many Free Migration Hours Are Included?
Each Helpjuice plan offers a set number of free migration hours to get you started:
- Starter Plan: 20 hours of free migration.
- Run-up Plan: 30 hours of free migration.
- Premium Limited Plan: 30 hours of free migration.
- Unlimited Plan: 50 hours of free migration.
What Happens When Free Hours Run Out?
Once the free migration hours are used up, we offer additional migration services at a highly competitive rate. For up to 50 additional hours, the rate is $10/hour, and if the migration exceeds 50 hours, the rate drops to $9/hour. For example, if your migration is estimated to take 70 hours and you’re on a plan with 30 free hours, the remaining 40 hours will be billed at these rates.
How Should Users Provide Files for Import?
We support various methods for file submission based on your needs:
- File Types: HTML, PDF, Word, Excel files.
- File Transfer Options: Email, OneDrive, Google Drive, or other secure methods for large file uploads.
- Helpjuice File Manager: Upload files directly to the Helpjuice Files Manager and our team will download and manage these files from there.
For website or knowledge base content, we can access the source directly via provided login credentials or a link.

How To Request A Custom Import?
Requesting a custom import is simple! Follow these steps:
- Click on your initials or picture in the bottom left corner of your Helpjuice dashboard.
- Go to Settings > Import Data.
- Scroll down to the Request Custom Import section.
- Click on Request.
This will redirect you to your email with the import team's address already added in the "To" field. All you need to do is type your request and hit Send!
